Drenched in dreamy florals and endless sweet moments Carla & Conor’s bright and blush al fresco wedding on the Athenian Coast was one of our favorites to shoot this year. The beautiful bride and groom met in London 9 years ago and Conor popped the question in New York. The bride and groom’s wanderlust and love for light, brought them to tie the knot in Greece at the elegant Ktima 48 with endless views of the sea and tons of gorgeous spaces which Peggy Simitzi, the couple’s planner from I Wish Chic Events styled to perfection with blooms to match the pillow soft colors of the Greek sunset and the right amount of greenery to keep things light and elegant. A blush palette never disappoints and as Carla had no particular theme or concept in mind. Thinking pink became the creative aesthetic foundation for the al fresco table settings as well as the bridesmaid dresses by Monique L’Huilier and the happy peony & rose posies Chlorofilli created! As wedding photographers we couldn’t help but notice one of the little big style details, Conor’s cufflinks read CC – his and her initials. How adorable is this! We love being around a couple whose flair is unique, but we definitely have a crush on those who will focus on having fun on their wedding day. Present through every bit of the couple’s preparations with their friends and families, definitely one of our fave moments had to be right when Carla, stunning in her gown, walked down the aisle. Conor’s face says it all, doesn’t it? Emotions built up and happy tears rolled, followed by cracking laughs and joyous speeches, and a phenomenal wedding party that lasted till early morn.
